Library services

With over 1,000 libraries and information centers in the government, as well as agencies that need knowledge and information support for staff and public outreach, the need for library services in the US government is extensive and diverse.

LAC Federal library credentials

Past performance examples for library services

Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB)

In 2015, LAC Federal was contracted by the DNFSB to review its library, records management and information management practices to provide recommendations for improvement. LAC Federal conducted a comprehensive, four-month assessment including market research and analysis, review of technical documentation, regular visits and stakeholder interviews. We delivered two preliminary reports for comment, which were incorporated into our final, 45-page report incorporating a step-by-step guide on how to implement our recommendations and how to transform its technical library into a virtual information center. We were awarded the contract to oversee an agency-wide, electronic records management system in compliance with NARA and other federal policies.

International Monetary Fund (IMF)

LAC Federal has been providing a number of library services to the International Monetary Fund. In 2013, IMF embarked on an extensive renovation program at its aging headquarters buildings. LAC Federal supported the organization during its library renovation in 2017-18 and provided additional technical staff and expertise as needed, to help IMF clients meet their information needs.
